President Uchtdorf’s wife, Harriet, fixes the left side of his regalia for him as he begins his address.
The humorous moment charmed the audience of 15,000 who had gathered for the inauguration of Brigham Young University-Idaho president Clark Gilbert.
President Uchtdorf smiled and remarked, “You see I’m well taken care of. At all times and in all places. If President Monson were here, he’d say, ‘Yes, Harriet, that’s what you need to do.”
