The Restoration can be a bit daunting to lay out for someone who has never heard it before. For this reason, Sister Facer and Sister Nelsen have created and recorded a parody of the Cup Song (“When I’m Gone“) that is very creative and educational.
For those visual and musical learners out there (most of us are), this is very helpful to remember the principles of the Restoration.
Sister Facer learned the “cupstoration” song from a member in the mission and has been using it to teach people about the restoration.
The song is choreographed and each cup has images that relate to what they are singing about. Sister Facer ends the song by explaining that:
The cupstoration just kinda shows how, even though Jesus Christ isn’t here personally on the Earth, He is still the head of His Church.
