Publication Guidelines and Core Values
We publish only the best quality LDS missionary-related content that follows, as close as can be interpreted, the most current “For the Strength of Youth” standards as well as the intent of Article of Faith 13:
“We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul …. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.”
We will therefore seek after and publish things that are virtuous, lovely, of good report and praiseworthy and anything that does not follow these guidelines and standards will be excluded from our channels of publication and distribution. We will not defame, or speak evil of or negatively about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or those who are called to lead the Church. No one involved in content creation on the Facebook page or website will be allowed to do this. If anyone publishes something that goes against these publishing standards and guidelines, this content will be removed immediately from the website or any other social channel on the Internet.
Mission of LDSmissionaries.com
To be a powerful voice in spreading light and truth. To extend the current reach of the LDS Missionaries Facebook page to a greater audience through this website / blog and establishing other social media pages. Our goal is to use the internet to spread truth, light, optimism and principles of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire to inspire and support preparing missionaries, full-time missionaries (though most won’t be able to read our website because of mission rules), member missionaries, returned missionaries and anyone else who loves missionaries. Hurray! Above all, our goal is to inspire members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to live happy and fulfilled lives, through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Specifically our mission and purpose is laid out in the following priorities:
- Be gathering place for fans of LDS Missionaries.
- Spread the Restored Gospel in a happy and positive way.
- Support families who are planning on or preparing for a mission.
- Provide a voice and a gathering place for families of LDS Missionaries.
- Provide resources and related insights for preparing missionaries and returning missionaries.
- Provide help and answers for our audience (support them by answering questions that they pose).
- Support and lift other worthy online projects (that align with our mission).
